Another bomb exploded today in a mosque in Cirebon, West Java, Indonesia, just few minutes before Friday prayer started, killing 1 man. A man killed in the mosque-bombing in Cirebon today is allegedly its perpetrator. Most-likely it's suicide-bomb. 25 people are injured. Interestingly, the mosque where the suicide-bomb took place today is located inside the complex of police office of the district of Cirebon.
A Jakarta-based terrorism expert speculated that the suicide-bombing in a mosque in Cirebon, Indonesia, today is linked to Al-Qaeda. It's been known that terrorists linked to JI and Al-Qaeda had singled out Indonesian police as one of their main enemy.
Indonesian police, i.e. The Detachement 88, has been successful in arresting and disrupting terrorist network over last 9 yrs. Very likely that the suicide-bombing in Cirebon targeted the police, given the fact that police has been seen by terrorists as their enemy!
Who is behind the suicide-bomb in Cirebon? We don't know, of course. Let the police handle it and reveal the networks behind it!
