On monday, February 6th 2011 at 10.00AM, 1,500 mass attack Ahmadiyah location in Desa umbulan, Cikeusik, Banten. Eventhough there were an opposition, still falling victims on Ahmadiyah side, three people died and some were seriously injured.
One morning before on saturday (5/2/2011) police took Parman, his wife and Tetep. Parman is an Ahmadiyah Mubaligh born in cikeusik, while Tetep is Ahamdiyah Cikeusik youth Chairman.
The reason why police brought three of these Ahmadiyah residents were to gather information regarding immigration status of Parman's wife, a Philippine citizen. And until today all of them still in the county police office, Pandeglang.
"Other 25 Ahamdiyah residents (majority were children and oldster) were being evacuated to avoid further assaults." explained Zafrulah Pontoh, press secretary for Ahmadiyah Indonesia.
Having informed that Ahmadiyah residents in Cikeusik were being evacuated, Ahmadiyah youths from Jakarta and Serang went to Cikeusik to perform pacification for those Ahmadiyah still remain in Cikeusik.
They arrived at 08.00AM the next day morning (6/2/2011), 18 people all of them plus 3 Ahmadiyah Cikeusik residents and started to guard Parman's house, where the 25 members were put for evacuation.
At that moment, Six police ofifcers and Criminal detective were already on site. On 09.00AM, one police pick up and two Dalmas trucks arrived.
They had breakfast and chat together with the Ahmadiyah. Police request the non-resident Ahmadiyah who came to Desa umbulan to leave the location immediately and not to do any opposition should there be an attack.
But the Ahmadiyah refuse the offer, then police representative left the site because he recieved a phone call. Since then, there were no more dialog, the Ahmadiyah still gather in Parman's house.
On 10.00AM, mass from north direction started to appear to Ahmadiyah location. They were shouting and pointing out machetes.
"Burn Ahmadiyah!! Disperse Ahmadiyah!! Police step aside!! We are ruling here!!" shout the aggressors.
All the police in the location remain quiet. When the attacker came closer to Parman's house, Ahmadiyah who were stand guard came out. The mass were increasingly violent and assault and abttery happened. All the other 21 Ahmadiyah residents whose were hold out, had to went out, causing the violant mass retreat.
However, mass wave were multiply from many directions. And the attack were becoming more furious. Total of attacker were 1500 people.
Witnesses from AhAmadiyah said that there were hail of stones. "We held out, but stones were being thrown, they came closer, we were trapped, we entered the field, disperesed, then being chasen and beaten."
The aggressor tried to chase Ahmadiyah members, those whose get caught, being stripped off then brutally beaten.
As the result, three Ahmadiyah members were dead in place and one more could be rescued with severe injuries condition.
All the Ahmadiyah whose managed to escaped, received many wounds from sharp weapon and bruises as the result of beaten and throwed stones. Most of Ahmadiyah's bodies full of machete cuts. Damage faces, and contusion.
"Until now, injuries victimes treated in Serang, while dead victimes will be taken to Jakarta for burial" explained Zafrullah.
The case has gripped the state as throughout the trial, the defendant managed to bribe his answer of jail dozens of times, as well as for overseas journeys.It has opened a window on government corruption, and broken the president’s name as an anti-graft reformer.
